civilized traffic, traveling together
to implement and fulfill the requirements of the 2024 hunan province road traffic safety culture construction plan and further enhance civilized traffic awareness among teenagers, and improve their self-protection ability in traffic safety by knowing and avoiding dangers, on june 14, 2024, the “civilized traffic, traveling together”-shaoshan city road traffic safety theme lecture, supported by duolun technology’s public welfare initiative, was successfully held at the shaoshan red research and ideological education base.
the shaoshan ideological education practice base (the old campus of former shaoshan school) is a historically significant rural school renowned both domestically and internationally. it bears the honor of having been personally inspected and its school name inscribed by the great leader chairman mao zedong. its predecessor was the mao family school, founded in 1921 under mao zedong’s initiative
this event was jointly held by the shaoshan city road traffic safety committee office, the shaoshan city education bureau and the traffic management department of the shaoshan city public security bureau. leaders including zhang ailiang, deputy director of the shaoshan city public security bureau and deputy director of the shaoshan city road traffic safety committee office, attended the event. more than 400 primary school teachers and students from shaoshan school, along with representatives of traffic police, kindergarten, and duolun technology party members, participated in the event together.
at the event, the attended leaders jointly donated the books “traffic safety twelve chinese zodiac series”, created by the road traffic safety research center of the ministry of public security, to ten kindergartens in shaoshan city. representatives of the young pioneers from shaoshan school presented red scarves to the leaders as a gesture of respect and saluted them with utmost reverence.
at the event, the microfilm my challenging journey to school: infinite rebirth on road traffic safety, produced by the xiangtan city road traffic safety promotion, was screened. a solemn ceremony for the civilized traffic oath-taking was held, where all participants pledged earnestly: abide by regulations, travel with civility, and become promoters and practitioners of civilized traffic behaviors!
the students participated together in a traffic safety experience class led by duolun technology’s traffic safety ambassador, wei junrui. they engaged in various game activities such as understanding traffic rules, recognizing traffic signs, and learning how to prevent and handle injuries like whip-like wounds, all in simulated real-life scenarios. these activities aimed to cultivate the children’s awareness of self-protection. moreover, both professional and interesting activities provided the children with enjoyable gaming experiences and a comprehensive understanding of traffic safety knowledge.
the shaoshan city public security bureau traffic police detachment organized a prize-based quiz during the event, allowing participants to gain a deep understanding of various traffic safety knowledge and the dangers of road traffic violations. this initiative aimed to impress on everyone the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and traveling safely and civilly. it significantly enhanced children’s awareness of road traffic safety, legal awareness, and civilization consciousness.
children are the future of our country and the hope of our nation. enhancing children’s awareness of traffic safety and strengthening their education in this regard are crucial steps towards supporting the national progress in traffic safety culture and achieving the dream of becoming a strong power in transportation.
